Reasoning is how we get from information to a conclusion.
It means separating what you know from what you assume, weighing the evidence, considering other explanations, noticing what is still unknown, and deciding what follows.
Everyone reasons, whether they call it reasoning or not.
People use it when deciding who to trust, whether a claim is believable, what a message means, whether a rule was broken, or what to do after something happens. When the information is incomplete or the stakes are high, weak reasoning can turn uncertainty into confidence too quickly.
Good reasoning does not guarantee a perfect answer. It gives the answer a visible path.
That path can be inspected, challenged, corrected, and improved. DRL treats reasoning as a practical human skill—not something people should have to wait for a philosophy course to encounter.
